Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

The price should not go up as most people can not afford it. This is a tragedy and can not go ahead!

The increase is simply not acceptable with lots of poor families who cannot afford it. BMC Should present a strong case infront of the parliamentary finance cabinet minister asking for more money to suppport the council and not simply increase the amount on the people.

What do you expect from Birmingham City Council? They're only in office to serve themselves. Never do anything for general public, but happy to increase costs and keep collecting our money! Profiting from grieving families, heartless and disgusting!

I do not want to increase burial cost for people who are in less income it going’s to be hard for them

It's so unfair, a percentage increase on burial, and 55%! Instead of helping people when they're going through troubled times, our council who tbf don't listen on any matter decide to squeeze every penny they can from the dead. Shame on you!

The proposed increases are unjust. There should not be any. If utmost necessary then such increases should not be more than the rate of inflation.
