Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Very disappointed with these new proposals by Birmingham City Council. What about the people who are on low income or are on benefits who can not afford to bury their loved ones, or themselves with these ridiculous prices !! S.M

I would like to humbly request to sympathise with the members of your community as increasing the costs of internment would really make it difficult for people as a whole. I personally have witnessed cases where people have found it difficult to bury their loved ones.

Just unaffordable especially with this demographic of minority group of people.

This increase is why beyond inflation and is ridiculous, I strongly object to the increase and increase should be in line with inflation
