Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Making money off us whilst we're alive now they making money off us when we're dead . Shocking . Isn't it already expensive .

How can they increase the costs of burial? Do they want people to start using their back gardens as grave yards? Crazy!

There are a lot of people struggling today financially how can they cover the costs now let alone if you put the prices up please rethink the human side of this not making profits

It's so sad, already what was being paid was unaffordable and now 55% increment is too much to bear.

The price is to high must be reduced back to the last year

The increase in the burial cost should definitely not take place, I feel that it is already very very expensive and many people struggle to fund their burial costs. Families should not be burdened with such costs as they're parting from their loved ones.
