We urge City Council to pass the zoning code amendments for minimum parking requirements and make them effective immediately. While the changes outlined in “New Apartments and Parking” do not address all of the concerns with parking, nor does it deal with issues surrounding density, design, and the public process, we believe these changes are a stop-gap measure that can offer some short term relief for our neighborhoods and will have a positive effect on the livability of large-scale developments in our communities.
