Upper Yakima River Access

Additional public access will only serve to improve local business and the counties residents.

This is a win/win for visitors and the local community.

As one on the States few blue ribbon trout streams, I hope the Kittitas County Administrators will consider more access points on the Yakima river. My wife & I truely enjoy the unique river environment of the Yakima and travel to the region a few times a year to enjoy the experience of drift boating down the riverfor a combination of sigt seeing and fishing. Additional boat access points would expand our opportunities to enjoy the river.

As a small business owner specializing in river boats living in Kittitas county, we need safe, year-round access to the amazing public resource that is the Yakima River. I'm in favor of increased access

Access is extremely important for "all" of us. Not just private land owners. The Yakima is a state treasure that should be made more available.

Public access on the Cle Elum river, below the dam, was recently interfered with by the Forest Service. We are concerned with lack of access here but we had access on the Cle Elum that was taken away from the public. We need to keep a close eye on present access.

Public access to our state's natural treasures is of utmost importance. It seems crazy that 8 miles of the Yakima has no public access. I'm all for changing that.

The public has the right to enjoy the state's natural resources. That right should not be dependent upon the vagaries of land ownership. The role of government is to ensure that the public's rights exist in more than name. Please provide for reasonable access in the target area.

A public access point on this section would be of great benefit to the user's of our waters. Please let's get this done.

Such a gem of a river with so little access for Joe public in this and other stretches. I have tried to explore this part of the river only to end up frustrated by the lack of access. I hope you will work to remedy this. Boat access would be great. Foot access would be even better. I live in Chelan county and spend several days a year fishing the river. For me, the lack of easy access to the river in this section and other stretches further upstream is a huge issue.

When we fish, we spend money. More access to this great river would be awesome.

Cannot depend on private land owners for continued access, lands could have new owners.
