Caught my first rainbow on a fly in these waters. Access at the time was a long hike.

we love coming over tothe ellensburg area and staying at the local koa and having agreat time there .more acess would be great to enjoy the beautiful yak as i like to call it spending money at the local stores is great for the economy consider the benefit it brings to the area think hard.

I hate when people own land "near" an access point, rather its water or a road (for example Shell Rock Road) and then prevent people from using what isn't owned by them.

As an angler who has to rely on foot access, I feel making more of the upper Yakima open for foot access is vital. Property owners don't, or shouldn't have the right to block access to the water.
