Upper Yakima River Access

I support the overall idea of more access to the Upper Yakima. I love this part of the river and have waded it for miles and miles in either direction. Is the land privately owned or is it State owned?

Need more and better access to be able to fly fish the Yak!

Increased access to this section of the river would balance fishing pressure across the system. Needs to happen.

FOR THOSE OF US THAT ARE NOW LIVING ON FIXED INCOMES, ADDITIONAL ACCESS TO THE RIVER THAT WOULD BE WITHOUT FEE'S WOULD BE A GOOD ADDITION TO WHAT'S ALREADY AVAILABLE. tHIS WAS A FELLA COULD FLOAT AND WADE IN PLACES THAT CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED BY A GUIDED TRIP. THAT MANY CAN NO LONGER AFFORD.

Open up the Farmlands section and restore access to the Yakima River.

I am all in favor of more and better access to the Upper Yakima River. I totally enjoy being on the river. More people should get outdoors. It would give them more motivation for protecting our environment and resources and get them more involved.

Badly needed. The diversion dam should be looked at for elimination as well.

This is a beautiful stretch of the river, and it would be great if we could share it with more people.

Need more public boat launching

I would definitely fish the river more often and spend more money locally if there was more foot access. It is very badly needed

I'm all for this. The river is great resource for the outdoor enthusiast of Washington State.

I strongly urge Kittitas County officials to provide for more public access on the Upper Yakima River. I have fished this river since the mid-1970s, at least a couple times a year, and I drive many miles to do so. It is important to me, my son, my whole family, and many others.

Please improve the access to the Yakima River as proposed in this petition. I travel across the state to the River to enjoy its fishing and natural beauty. With that I spend money in the area to support the small business community. Thanks

I travel to Ellensburg several times a year from Montana to fish the Yakima.

We are in favor of the petition. We fish the Yakima 6-8 times a year and added access would be an improvement.
