Concord does not need more development. What the town does need is to conserve its open space. Keep Concord natural!

The town and its residents spend a lot of money and time putting bylaws in place. What makes this developer special such that the rules don't apply to him? He asked to be exempt and was told no. Time to move on and finally accept that our bylaws actually represent what we the citizens believe in.

Disgraceful. Destroying more of the the habitat is anti-environmental in all aspects. Support the ZBA

Vote down this plan to create a cluttered and overdeveloped mega- village. Stand up for nature and say no to greedy and unscrupulous developers.

Please uphold the Zoning Board of Appeals' unanimous decision to deny this special permit. Clear-cutting 8 acres of healthy trees and the resulting earth removal is injurious to the town's natural character and it removes important wildlife habitat and carbon sinks. It forces Concord to incur future climate-related mitigation costs. This reduction in carbon sequestration capacity is not congruent with the spirit of the town’s Climate Action and Resilience Goals.

The proposed massive earth removal and tree clear-cutting is a non-starter for this project. A much smaller development on this land would be far more appropriate.

This area must have a superior development plan that supports the town's sustainability goals instead of destroying them.

I fully support the ZBA's decision to reject the special permit for this development. The flattening of the topography & hauling of 60K cu yds of earth that underpin this plan are not aligned with the town's values or our bylaws. Concord (and any other community in the state considering this type of new construction) is entitled to a more environmentally-friendly, thoughtful plan that aligns with our values. The developer is insisting on optimizing profit to the detriment of our community's health and sabotaging our environmental goals. This land should be preserved more naturally if/when development takes place.

Thank you, ZBA, for opposing this application. Town of Concord, please oppose the application legally. Let's go back to the imperfect but reasonable PRD proposal.

I followed every meeting of the ZBA on this issue and found their reasoning to be sound, logical, responsive to the community, and in-line with the wording and intent of the bylaws. Please continue to stand firm against this unreasonable intrusion on the nature of our community.

I have recently moved to Concord, and am appalled to find that a project such as this is even being considered! Please deny this attempt to undermine the goals and the character of this town!

I support the Zoning Boards decision to address the concerns of the community regarding this development.
