Upgrade the Baseball/Softball Facilities of Kingston

Broken bones, bruises, other injuries. These things happen in any game, but when the poor condition of the fields contribute to these things it's time for change. We preach our kids need exercise, fresh air and socialization. How is this supposed to happen when our playing fields are in atrocious condition. No offence to soccer players but what would be the reaction if their fields were in the condition our softball fields are. Come on Kingston time for an upgrade!

very sad, one ot the more affortable sports, we pay money for the uniforms, fix the fields, always rain and puddles.

I have played softball on a few of the fields for the past four years. these fields really need t be fixed up! it's pretty sad when you go up the bat and have to step down by home base.

kingston always lags in this area. Much smaller communities provide better facilities. Where is our money going?

This is unacceptable! The push is to get kids off of the couch & physically active. What message is this giving to our kids with adults letting this happen? My hard earned money is being wasted on things like bicycle lanes, (more dangerous for drivers) which was a BIG waste of money, and neglecting our what is so important to our children like keeping our baseball fields, Give your heads a shake.

diamonds are a joke. Someone is going to get hurt with the shape they are in. Why can't the city look after anything nice? No wonder why these small towns get to host these larger scale events. You are throwing your income dollars away. What a joke

Better maintained fields would make playing for the kids much more fun. Please fix them!

Please make our fields better!

We have been going to soft ball games with children and now grandkid for 30 years and the fields are a disgrace. When weeds grow higher then the kids knees there is a problem. Please fix it.

City of kingston. Get your s#it together. The kids and city deserve better.

I hoped the city's goal with increased user fees would result in higher quality fields. Thanks Swainer for highlighting this issue.

It is time the baseball fields were upgraded to include water and grass instead of dandelions. Fields are not safe for the kids and an embarrassment to host rep teams on.
