I have a 1.5 year old son and he is unable to play at any park in Fawkner during summer due to no parks having any proper shade or shelter. Playground equipment is too hot for an adult to touch! It’s quite sad walking around and seeing deserted and outdated parks everywhere in Fawkner. The people of Fawkner need something special!

We have been waiting for the whole of mutton reserve to be updated after we attended a planning meeting well over 3yrs ago. Hoping plans are now underway

During the day the playground is hardly used (during council work hours that is) at nights it's packed with families. An amazing place to gather and meet people in our community

This playground is very well used and in bad condition. It would be nice to see Moreland council investing in Fawkner as more families are moving to the area

With a few upgrades, such as a shade cloth, our playground would be a more user-friendly place to take our kids. At the moment the playground is under-utilised because it's not that practical or aesthetically pleasing.

Shade is desperately needed at this playground. Also, a drinking fountain with dog water bowl positioned further from the playground, on another side of the oval, would prevent dogs from running to the area where children play.
