This really needs done both of my dogs were rescue only and hours from euthania at Franklin county dog shelter and are both wonderful dogs. It's so sad that these dogs don't really get a chance at all.

There is no excuse for any kill shelters to exist in 2016. It's a vial, cruel practice and I hope Franklin County Ohio does the right thing.

ALL shelters should be no kill. Don't call your facility a shelter if you "kill" for space.

Lower your fees, many want to adopt but cannot afford the fee and needs of their pet.

Plz become a NO KILL SHELTER. Stop murdering adoptable dogs. Give them the care and help they need!!!

As a person who has adopted a cat from a no-kill shelter, I think all shelters should take on the same responsibility. All animals deserve the best of care and attention, and Franklin County's Dog Shelter is an embarrassment to our Columbus community!

Franklin county should already be a no kill destination for our furry friends. Its our fault. Mine, yours. Its long overdue and when is better than now? Join together, sign and share this petition. Thank you

Most any dog, can thrive in a loving home. They should not be labeled by a shelter. All efforts should be made to rehome these precious lives....it is SOME humans fault they are in a shelter.....not theirs!!!!

As a former Deputy Dog Warden of Fairfield County Dog Shelter this is what needs to happen everything stated in this petition is accurate as FCDS is consider a No Kill shelter with the advocates for the dogs help. The voices were heard and has joined with the humane society as well to work together to a certain levels.
