Far too many dogs are unfairly losing their lives due to the issues mentioned here. Franklin County should be willing to appropriate the proper resources to the shelter to address these issues, and the shelter should be held responsible to spend these resources primarily to save the lives of innocent dogs.

I am fostering 2 dogs that were previously on death row at this particular shelter, both had extremely poor assessments done while at the shelter. I urge you to update the practices of this shelter.

I have 2 dogs that were deemed aggressive that I rescued in June. Both these dogs are terrific. They just need time to decompress and the practices need changed.

When I was little my parents put my dog in the pound. They had second thoughts a week later. He wasnt a nice dog but he was family. When they went back to get him it was to late. Imagine all the dogs that just need a second chance.

These insane actions at the shelter need to be put to a stop. Too many dogs are murdered there weekly. Testing needs to be changed so it is not so one sided.

Please! no more killing! The money used to euthanize cats and dogs could go toward animal sanctuaries .

Please work with the citizens of Franklin County (I am one of them) to resolve the issues within the FCDS. There are many issues that have simple solutions, if only the County is willing to work with us. We are their voice.
