Update Animal Care Centers of New York City (NYC ACC) to No-Kill

These fur babies deserve humane treatment at the very least!

A shelter should be a safe place, where every life, animal or human should be respected.

Please change your policy in animal shelters to no kill give little angels chance to find loving homes

There should not be any kill shelters ANYWHERE! All these animals deserve a chance and you refuse to give them one!!

Please do not kill animals. Let them live and rehome them even if it takes a while. It breaks my heart to see photos of beautiful creatures who are going to be put down!!

All shelter animals deserve a high level of respect, dignity, and human compassion. After all, the entire human race is failing them in one degree or another! Please stop the madness of killing for sport, killing for money! We need to attempt more adoptions vs weak ass ppl that can care less about them over the all mighty dollar!

Stop the killing of innocent animals. Make those hell holes NO KILL. It's time

Nyc acc's live release rate would be about 25% or less. New Hope rescues save the majority of at risk animals. Acc also does absolutely no pubkic outreach or advertizing. They use moblie adoption vans with severely limited space on weekends. They have only participated in three large off site adoption events since January 2017. They killed 11 animals in the first two days of June 2017. They killed thrty seven animals and kilked nearly a third of that number. Live release rate my behind. Eleven animals are dead while there is a huge large scale adoption event going on as I now speak. They have no dogs at this event, not even one. They did take a few dogs to a separate location

Dogs and cats are dying at enormous rates and hidden in the numbers put out by the NYC ACC. We know this because we have been tracking the stats for years.

No kill Nyc I completely support this change

stop the slaughter...investigate these three shelters for their actions and if there is any abuse and under lying horrors

Everyday my Twitter feed is filled with images of beautiful cats and dogs on kill lists in New York. Sometimes these animals are mere kittens and puppies yet instead of starting out their lifelong journey into someone's home and heart, their lives are callously stolen from them. This barbaric process should be relegated to the ranks of history ASAP. I, myself, live in Scotland; here we have organisations like 'The dogs trust' who go to great lengths to care for their four legged residents. They (The dogs trust) don't rehome an animal until they home-check, inoculate, neuter and match the right person to the right dog. There are many other animal charities and shelters here too, all of which have a no-kill policy. This is why I find NYC's approach to homeless animals so appalling. It's like something out of the dark ages as far as I'm concerned and so far removed from the progressive City that I previously believed it was.

Get off your lazy asses and do your job the right way!! Ban kill shelters..fire the current lazy ass staff and hire new caring people!
