I always thought of NY as a caring democratic state but now that I hear of how our top politicians look the other way on how we treat our dear animals, I’m embarrassed to reside here. STOP THE WELL DOCUMENTED ABUSES!!

NYCACC is on a killing spree! Many good adoptable pets are killed even with potential Rescue Groups and Adopters willing to step in. As a government funded facility they need to be held accountable. Nycacc needs an overhaul!!

This person needs to be put in jail for killing all these PERCOUIS BABIES these babies didn't DESERVE to be put down she doesn't DESERVE to be around these PERCOUIS BABIES please let's close the shelters that kill these PERCOUIS BABIES and open shelters that don't kill them and give them More time to find loving homes

They need to be a no kill as this animals deserve better than what they are getting. They all deserve a chance to be happy and have a safe place to go.

You can't seriously call your shelter humane if you continue to kill adoptable dogs and cats.

The way that dogs are evaluated and sent to euthanasia is not humane. A no kill method has been proven to save as many as 98% of the shelter animals every month. We ask you to switch to a No Kill method which is in the best interests of the animals and of us as humane persons.

NO reason to kill healthy adoptable dogs — unsanitary conditions in NYCACC shelters cause many illnesses that are preventable

Having recently been personally involved in trying to save dogs and help find them homes, your system puts animals on the kill list too soon! Please consider making them no kill as so many more animals will be able to find loving homes with more time.

I was talking of this very matter today. My serious concern centres on the value to Animal Care Centres of New York City Dead or Alive.

These shelters are in great need of reform or better yet, to close down altogeather, if they can't/won't comply W/new regulations, shelters should be a safe haven for adoptable pets to be rehomed, NOT to be murdered, idea for @NYCACC, redesign your shelters into a NO-KILL shelter & save lives.
