Our struggling businesses, Cities, and schools need these jobs. We are in desperate need for this. Why can’t you open your eyes Better yet. Come up here for a month. In winter. See how the tourism industry is thriving and the local business doing great. When in reality half of them have to close in winter because they can’t afford the heating costs !

Your environmental goals cannot be met without mining the strategic metals required. Northern Minnesota needs the economic benefits that this mining will bring. Also, the United States must become self reliant on critical metals and elements for our security and economic future. Modern mining methods, government oversight and the will of the people insures a safe and environmentally sound operation.

Twin Metals will supply much needed minerals/metals for green energy products and our electronics/hi-tech driven economy. This will provide good paying jobs and benefits unlike the slave labor jobs with no safety or environmental protections in other foreign countries. We can and will do this mining in an environmentally responsibly sound process!!

Twin Metals will soon submit a mine operating plan and begin the process of obtaining a permit to conduct mining operations.
I respectfully ask the Walz administration to support Twin Metals' proposed underground mining project.

You need to spend time at Twin Metals to learn about the project. They have gone above and beyond even in their exploration stage as far as treating the environment with tender living care.

The anti-mining crowd uses more copper and nickel than regular folk and believes that minng pollution from the other side of the world doesn't rain down upon the Boundary Waters. The governor is just as ignorant. Meanwhile, we watch as Ely succumbs to declining tourism, part-time, three month employment and gov. assistance - all with actual help located 5000 feet BELOW the surface. Instead of fighting our potential for prosperity, how about helping us mine responsibly? That is what a leader would do.
I live in cook mn. I support this project
