For option 3 if the cases aren’t gonna get better ( which is most probably the case) it is not gonna be possible to do the finals as calendar timing I would suggest instead “No midterms and one final exam at the beginning of the next term”

I hope to review the midterm exam decision because it puts a lot of pressure on the student.

Having a huge project instead of exams seems pretty convenient to us but not calculating the grades into the gpa will waste an entire semester especially for people trying to raise up their gpas so normal grading letters and projects and assignments instead of exams. The assignments assigned to us aren’t really the easiest so the instructors so I don’t see a problem with canceling the exams and replacing them!
