How many more precious animals have to die because of unsafe products?
Get these unsafe toys off shelves and really make dog toy makers be held to a higher standard with their products! These pets are our family, not just property!
This is a petition to remove any and all toys similar to Walmart's Double Dentals dog toy made from nylon. This toy is extremely dangerous and posses a threat to any dog that uses it!
The string had wrapped around her tongue went through the stomach, through the intestine, and into the colon. It was slowly cutting through the intestine and allowing the intestinal contents to leak into the abdomen creating a septic peritonitis. Two surgeries later she passed away
I lost my sweet, healthy, young dog because of this toy and the string its made with! Please join me in getting these dangerous things out of stores and keeping our pups safe! Why is it there are standards placed on so many other things, yet dog toys are overlooked.

I spent the entire morning reading through the stories you all are leaving below and frankly it just breaks my heart to see how many other dogs have suffered from these nylon toys. I am still trying to get a direct contact at the corporate office because the silence from them is just maddening and I refuse to stop pushing until someone actually acknowledges the danger here.

It sickens me to think that Walmart was so nonchalant in their remarks to Alisha in regards to he death of her dog caused by this toy. Please make safety regulations on pet toys just as there are on children's toys.
Nylon fibers should not be used in any dog toys. Dog toys should be as safe as any toy for a young child should be. Walmart should pull these and any similar toys right away.
If Walmart claims to be community conscious, why are they selling toys that kill our pets! Once notified, they should have pulled it and all toys like it from their shelves. They should have notified Corporate as well, and Corporate should follow through.
We have loss one precious pet from Walmarts Double Dentals Toy, why does someone else have to go through that tragedy? Remove the toys and any others like this.
Until Walmart values the health and well-being of our pets, I will be finding alternative places to shop for ourselves and our pets.
All pet toys need to meet safety standards that ensure there are no parts that can break off or be swallowed, no choking hazards and no harmful or carcinogenic substances. They should be tested for safety just as toys for humans are.
dont let people lose their pets in this horribly painful way.

How dare they not remove the toy that caused a family to lose a beloved fur baby. Not only do they show zero compassion, but the lack of intellectual input on the matter is appalling! shame on you Walmart. REMOVE THE DEADLY DOG TOY FROM YOUR SHELVES AND TRY TO REDEEM YOURSELVES.
