Please don't make the education to pure business. Instead of reducing the high fees , it is increasing. It is not at all acceptable. Unjustified hike

I agree, very unrealistic. but the irony is the term they use. "20% discount from the approved fees" instead of call it a hike the prefer to call it discount.. Mr. Varkey is one Of the Top billionaires in the Gulf, and still he claims he does not make profit.. Strange....

Yearly hike is difficult on the budget...

Fee Hike is too much, if fee is increased keeping in mind the market sentiments and scenario that is fine, but this much of hike is not acceptable at all.

Happy to hear that at least some parents took such an initiative to oppose this unjustified fee hike. The fees are 3 times higher than any other schools having 10 times better standard.

Imparting education is a noble deed. Don't make it a professional tool to amass huge personal wealth.

Unjustified hike

Fee hike is Exorbitant. Not at all matching with the Quality of Education with the current fees itself and on what basis want to increase fees. Management lacks Quality and Standard. Poor standards of teachers. Teachers not cooperative.

Glad that this step has been taken and could help all us to overcome this issue.

Please consider our request . Fees is beyond the limit.

Need to seriously consider about the fee hike... The market not doing so well how do they expect people to pay such high fees more so ever the Teachers are not competent enough....

Dear GMSS Management, The fee hike this year is on a very bad timing as the economic condition is really bad with crisis and each and every one of us is suffering one way or other, not to leave the GMSS Staff i guess. So many parents are in the look out for jobs and some have already lost their jobs. Even Business people are suffering. Still, trying to manage and keep their children in GMSS as they don't want to try another school especially at higher classes. We have decided to continue with GMSS for the year 2016-17 as we had no choice and no time to seek admissions as the fee hike announcement strangely always comes at a time when admission process is closed in all schools. More over, we are happy with our Child's progress and referred many prospective parents. But, unfortunately, if these kind of fee hikes continue, we need to look for alternatives next year. Moreover, the fees has been increased every year with some or other reason and it became routine affair. But, the fee hike is not justified/proportion to the quality education, sport and other activities, with any additions, facilities and/or improvements. Even the education is becoming normal comparing to previous years for higher classes as most of the teachers requesting the children to copy the text book in note book which we don't understand the logic at all. We need teaching outside text book with referrals for our children to gain real knowledge to face the society and world. Also, lot of projects, PPT and holiday home works are given which doesn't allow enough time for the children to study. The projects are given at some critical times even without considering the children's time and other factors. This fee hike is only causing disgruntlement among parents of existing students and is prompting them to look for other options for their children.
