The JAMA has published the effects of CO2 buildup in children. Far more problematic than maskless kids.

I’m concerned about the risk of bacterial growth in the mask and CO2 buildup which causes respiratory acidosis which poses a health risk to my children.

Our son has mild asthma and I truly believe that forcing him to wear a mask is making his asthma worse. It also takes away from the personal relationships and understanding of children between other children and their teachers. Wearing masks should be a personal and family choice.
