As an educator of 2nd graders I can personally share the harm masks have caused in children. The masked block everyday participation of speech. They get absolutely dirty and have landed on the floor. The heat in August is unbearable and adding a mask will inhibit these kids from being able to breathe fully. PLEASE unmask these sweet faces. Follow the science….children are NOT super spreaders and teachers have all been vaccinated! Facts not fear!

On top of the emotional and mental depletion of our children that results in masking, the Journal of the American Medical Assoc has also published proof that masks increase childrens’ CO2 content in blood to dangerous levels, just within an hour or so.

Most if not all teachers are vaccinated at this stage. Kids should NOT be muzzled in the classroom. They should and need to be able to see each others faces, smiles, frowns. To be able to recognize when a friend is feeling sad, or happy. It is beyond ridiculous that we even have to petition this.
Do the right thing and let our children breath. Do not let the fear blind you from what is basic common sense.
