In light of Governor Murphy's recent announcement on August 6, 2021, he once again calls for mask requirements for K-12 students.
For quite some time, masks mandates for children did not sit well with me but "for the greater good" I accepted it. Now; however, with all the scientific data coming out, we are now aware of how detrimental mask mandates are for the physical and mental health and the brain development of our children.
Both sides of the political spectrum, Dr. Fauci, and the CDC collectively agree that masking children will have short and long term effects on children. From lack of oxygen, increased levels of carbon dioxide, shortness of breath, high toxicity, inflammation, increased stress levels, fear, anxiety, headaches, fatigue, visual and hearing issues, not to mention the lack of connection with classmates and their teachers are all harmful effects of wearing masks. Children come home with wet and dirty masks on that are riddled with germs and bacteria. With the risk of viral transformation among children being so low (outside it's almost nonexistent) these mandates still stand. Why? If the bad OVERWHELMINGLY outweighs the good, there is no reason to continue with the mask mandates.

I understand some people don't fully agree or would prefer their child to remain wearing a mask. I respect that decision, as a parent, it should be your CHOICE to make. However, it is my RIGHT to decide that my child doesn't need one. Politicians are elected officials and they work for us! Let's demand that we take back our children's rights and freedom. I ask you sign this petition to give the parents, the RIGHT to make our own CHOICES with what they think is best for our children. UNMASK our CHILDREN!
