"Any mask will do" just doesn't make any sense at all for filtering a virus. The blue medical grade masks don't even filter viruses. And why make children who are not at risk of serious illness wear a mask or get a vaccine that's not FDA approved and for a virus that is 98-99% serviveable. Stop it!

The AAPs new guidance is just that. It is ridiculous and it is not based on science. It is based on fear. The fear mongering by these organizations must stop. They have become political machines. My children are not safer because of masks. In fact, they struggle to breath, have head aches, can’t hear their teachers, struggle to communicate with their peers, etc. Wearing dirty masks is terrible for children and we all know that masks are not getting cleaned daily. Furthermore, children do not die from this virus (look at the data, the risk to them is less than the flu) and they rarely spread it! THAT is the science. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to WAKE UP!!! You have been deceived.
Organizations like AAP and CDC need to reverse course and follow the SCIENCE and stop with the fear tactics. We are creating a generation of misguided youth, and adults for that matter.
It’s time to do the right thing and provide guidance based on reality and end masking in our schools.
