This petition is to show support to UNMASK OUR KIDS in Green Local School District in Green,Ohio. Masking is ineffective in preventing the spread of infectious illnesses such as Covid-19, influenza, colds, strep, etc... Masking our children increase stress in their learning environment because they are worried about their masks being on, cannot breathe well, affects their ability to concentrate well, have other symptoms that interfere with learning such as headaches, irritability, and fatigue. Masking dehumanizes
children and adults making their peers and teachers unrecognizable thus impeding social connections and bonds from forming. Masking interferes with non-verbal communication, social cues and ability for children to hear and understand each other and their teachers.
