I absolutely agree with this. It is wrong to mandate that face masks be required for staff and our children. We are 2 weeks or so into the school year and there hasn't been a mass spreading event. I'm puzzled as to the intent behind this and why this is being implemented especially in our area where our numbers do not seem to justify this kind of action.
I would like to hear from teachers directly their thoughts and what they are experiencing (masks vs non masks). If there were such a high casualty rare and sickness rate I would reconsider, but theres not. So there's a larger agenda here that we should be more concerned about

I believe people have the right to decide if they want to wear a mask or not. It should not be forced on the kids or anyone else!

Unfortunately should mask mandates be put in place I will have to pull my daughter out of school and do online or home school. The risk way out number any benefit, which I can even see a benefit to compare. Choice is what our country was founded on.

Paper and cloth masks do NOTHING to prevent the spread of a viral disease. But what they do actually produce: fear, depression, low oxygen levels due to restricted airway, bacterial infections from: touching wet saturated masks, that are CONSTANTLY being adjusted. Our children deserve better than this!

I don't have children but i have read the reports and watched as many close friends who are parents battle this. What started off as "just a few weeks" has now turned into over a year with no concrete evidence that a mask mandate is needed for children or for adults. you keep changing your mind, one week this the next week this... I am sorry it is getting ridiculous. Good job keeping us divided and taking away our voice and freedom to choose what is best for our bodies and of course your children. This has got to end, we are over it.

Numerous studies state that the common Masks provide very little protection. We are a free people and should not be subject to meaningless mandates. Freedom of choice, please!

There is no real data that gives any reason for this. My kids attitude and mental health is much better this year with out masks.
