Unlock the Durfee bathrooms

You should be able to go to the bathroom whenever you want or need to.

Little does the school know locking the bathrooms does nothing. kids full on roll blunts in class and happily smoke them in class it’s not even just vaping and juul. Some teachers are aware of what there students do in class and chose not to say anything. My sophomore year I had a math teacher after the whole epidemic where kids where bringing weapons to school who was FULLY aware a student in my class had a knife on him and simply told him to put it away before anyone else sees it. In the same class there was a girl who would pop pills (not Tylenol it was medication prescribed for people with schizophrenia she did not have it she later had an overdose on the public bus) and nobody would say anything to her. Thank god I don’t go to durfee anymore but it’s unfair and I’m pretty sure it’s against the law to with hold a bathroom from someone it’s their right to use the restroom. If you don’t with hold bathrooms from teachers or special education students then don’t with hold them from the rest of the school.

I attended Durfee from class of 2019 & there were many times I couldn’t go to the bathroom and had to walk all the way downstairs or on the opposite side of the building, then would get in trouble for “taking too long”

Always end up being out for 10 mins when a bathroom break should be at least 2 mins

This is ridiculous it’s how these kids will have urinary and continence issues in the future unlock now stop being messed up

WE ARE MISSING SO MUCH FOR CLASS BC WE HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY DOWN STAIRS.

This has always been an issue when I was a student. It can be frustrating trying to run to bathrooms to see which are unlocked and which aren’t.

it’s hard being a girl and not having open bathrooms

Nobody takes into count that every girl in that school has a period and it’s not something we can control like a bladder. If i need to use the bathroom i NEED to use the bathroom .
