University Ports
This petition goes about opening certain ports on the network allowing students to access online gaming protocols such as the following:
· League of legends
· Heroes of newerth
· Call of duty Modern Warfare 3
· Call of duty Modern Warfare 2
In this petition we aim to get enough signatures to convince the university to open the following ports:

The IT department continues to ignore our basic requests while they treat the campus network like a private fortress. We are paying thousands for tuition and deserve access to standard online services without these arbitrary blocks.

yes please. being stuck in the dorms with nothing to play is the worst part of freshman year
Can barely get an update to download on steam because of the firewall. honestly ridiculous.
Literally just trying to play some league with my friends on the weekend. The wifi is awful and this restriction makes it even worse.
it is insane that we pay thousands for room and board and cant even play a match after class without lag spiking or getting blocked entirely. fix this.
I dont get why they block cod. its not like it hurts the network infrastructure or anything. let us have some fun.
