This would be fantastic! The play structure is so old and some of the items seem to be dangerous for my young kids. It would be amazing to have some shade as well.

I will be moving to UC next week and have a 3 year old daughter and another baby on the way. We will be at Marcy Park everyday and would absolutely love to see the playground updated! It's such a beautiful feature of the neighborhood already and I can't wait to watch my kids grow up there knowing they will have new, safe and fun equipment for play. Thank you for organizing this renovation!

This park would get used considerably more, especially by East End University City families and yoing prople as well as the retirees across the street. Furthermore, let's keep all of University City beautiful valuable and functional, instead of just the Central and Western end of U C.
