It would be great to see two beach volleyball courts added. Given that beach volleyball is now a collegiate sport with scholarships available, there are many young men and women in the neighborhood who would like to play. I would love to be able to play with my daughters without the hassle of parking in La Jolla or at Mission Beach in the summer. Most or all of the cost of this improvement could be covered by corporate sponsors and/or donations.
If whoever is spearheading this is willing to add this idea to the mix, I will happily gather signatures for the petition, coordinate getting sponsors or do whatever else would help the cause.

We can walk to Marcy park but instead drive to Sprekles. My disabled son who loves to swing can't. The existing ones are all for babies....

We should have a low, dog-only water fountain and insist that the human water fountains be off limits to dogs. Having a dog use a water fountain is really off-putting.

I think the space shuttle is nice, but perhaps due to the proximity to general dynamics it should be replaced by a BGM-109 tomahawk. Conventional of course.

We love to walk around this park and to hear children laughing and playing from our backyard. And when our young grandkids are here it is a very special place to take them.
