Unfortunately refugees continue to struggle to find safer places to live, escaping war and other dangers in their home countries.

Many refugees arriving in the UK are unaccompanied children and government plans to help them are limited.

If children are granted refugee status, they are usually placed in foster homes or institutions. After such traumatizing experiences, it is difficult to imagine not having family by your side.

Under current UK law, adult refugees are allowed to bring other close family members into the UK to live with them. However this does NOT apply to unaccompanied child refugees.

Unaccompanied child refugees should have the right under UK law to be able to bring a family member into the country.

its honestly heartbreaking thinking about these kids alone after everything theyve been through. imagine being a child and having no one to turn to in a new country. fix this law now!!!
