Will the Federal government ever get things right. It's peak hiring for the construction industry. Extra unemployment through February or March would be fine. Not extending it through August or September.

Openings and no applicants, those that do never show for a interview. I am in the building supply industry and we can’t material on the ground fast enough. There is opportunities every where. So many people out there with no drive to succeed or better themselves. Very concerned for the future of our great nation.

The government is making it very difficult to get employee's by paying people to not work. Where is our country going! Work is a good thing!! God created work!

I think that the majority of the people who were laid off, were laid off because they are C and D level employees that that needed to be cut. I doubt very seriously that any of the laid off people are A or B players. Personally, I am glad that the government has taken all of the bad actors out of the system. I will not hire anyone who has been sitting at home collecting unemployment for a long period of time.

How is it that us citizens especially small business owners are mandated to : -pay exorbitant amount of insurance to avoid loss of livelihood often w frivolous claims. -double taxation without representation aka equipment taxes paid upon purchase and annually. -Forced competition among against unequal playing fields. - i hired only for the applicants) to quit bc his unemployment check came. ,how are companies paying cash for payroll, -forced licenses in every field (including a leisure act like fishing, yet you can break one of the highest laws in the land, boarder lines with no regulatory requirements. -Bad behavior seems to be the status quo and rewarded.

Spot on We have 4 open positions and not one applicant. Not even someone that is not qualified. 25 years and have never seen it this bad. If we can not provide the products and serviices, we can not be profitable. And then we can not supporrt the goverment with the taxes.
