Although I am a Labour supporter, I'm willing to vote tactically, to get the Tories out of govt and Bournemouth.

I agree, Kym. I think there is a strong current of such ideas throughout the Labour, Lib Dem and Green parties. I don't agree with ALL the policies of any one of these parties, but I fear the Tories are in the grip of some pretty nasty people as well as self-centred buffoons like Boris. Time for a change especially for our younger generation who deserve the right to be heard. Anything you can do to promote this petition and to get young people to vote would be brilliant. Thank you.

Labour are really not that far from the Lib Dems on this. we have to take account of all the Lab and Lib Dem voters who voted Brexit and also want to see the back of the Tories. It's a challenge but if we start talking to each other and agree on united front candidates we have a chance of the vast majority of Bournemouth voters getting a real influence in parliament for the first time in a hundred years rather than the Tory elite. Together we can win.

We must unite under one candidate to truly represent the huge opposition to the tories that exists in this area.

Hi Peter. Personally I agree with you. I am also very conscious of the fact that over 60% who voted in the referendum in Bournemouth voted for brexit. We cannot ignore these people. It's a legitimate view. My personal view on this is to get the Tories out first. That then opens up scope for hammering out a solution in parliament which favours everyone in the country, taking account of the fact we need to manage immigration and emigration positively, respectfully and humanely for all our interests. Several thousand labour and lib dems voted UKIP in Bournemouth in the last election. we have to win them back too. After that everything becomes possible. I don't see it as an either or. I think brexit v remain is another classic Tory divide and rule tactic just as the sterile, vitriolic immigration debate has been - the real question is whether we want another 5 years of bogus 'austerity' (the rich get richer and the deficit stays the same or rises) - or whether we are going to strive for the interests of our communities as a whole, protect our public services from asset strip[ping and create affordable housing, living wages, a free, publicly owned NHS, fully funded schools, a thriving, enterprising economy and social care fit for purpose. I think we can only win together.

The only way to stop Brexit is to kick the Tories out.

This is so important... let's not split the vote. Get the Tories out , then push for Proportional Representation to stop them getting in when most voters in the constituency don't want them.

This election is too important to allow old loyalties to divide the opposition.
