The Tory MP for B'm'th West (Conor Burns) is completely out of touch with what is right for the Town. We are dependent on foreign visitors for both the tourist trade and English as a 2nd language - our two biggest industries. It is therefore essential that we are seen to be welcoming to people from overseas and that there are as few barriers to them coming here as possible. Mr Burns advocated Brexit and backed Michael Gove in the leadership contest, suggesting he is for hard Brexit. In the last 6mths of 2016, earnings from education plummeted by 20% in the area (as reported in The Echo) - some £60m. We simply cannot afford to lose so much money in an area where we have an above average proportion of retirees. Furthermore, Mr Burns consistently votes against measures aimed at assisting the most vulnerable members of the population. He must go. We need to elect a pro-Remain candidate in his place.

Hi Sarah. I know, It's tricky. Lib Dems are taking a clear Remain stance to gain a portion of the 48% and Labour are trying to retrieve some of the voters they lost to UKIP. My argument, as a Labour Party member who voted Remain is that if the Tories win the election there is no hope of a positive outcome - neither a rerun of the referendum nor an even vaguely positive deal on leavin the EU. Defeat the Tories first, then I think there's a chance in parliament of slugging out a decent outcome.... plus we get rid of the insane 'austerity' myth aka redistribution of wealth to the rich and the relentless asset stripping of UK public services to line the pockets of the same few rich people.

This would need to be an anti-Brexit vote to get my full support.

I'm a pro Corbyn labour person but totally agree with this idea. Would be good to get rid of Tories.

We can do it together - 74% of people didn't vote for the Tories in the last two general elections!

I don't see it like that. I am campaigning to get United Front candidates - people who are ready to work hard to represent all the views the three parties have in common and to work closely with all three parties to agree what to do about the policies that are incompatible. I can see making way working in some constituencies but in Bournemouth i think we need to be much clearer that we are working together not one or other of us giving up. It's the working together aspect that will get us votes from an otherwise disinterested public. What is there to lose? Every election for the last two hundred years we have just handed it to the Tories on a plate. No one party will win it on their own. Together we can win.

Thanks for all the comments people. Keep them coming and please keep sharing the petition. Once we get to one thousand signatures we will be banging down the doors of the Lib Dems, Labour and the Greens to get them together in a room to start negotiating.

Collaboration is the best way. It's time to ask 'what is the future I want for this country?' If it's an eternal Tory government keep squabbling because that's exactly what the Tories want.

The Tories have ruined this country with their greed. Time to unite and remove them from the power seat.

Common sense. All the parties are too complacent and need to broaden their horizons and learn to work together.

Please listen to your constituents- I am a one long LP party member and active trade unionist. I will vote for anyone who has a chance of ridding us of Conor Burns.

We must kick the Tories out, or there will nothing left of our public services. We need a fully funded public NHS, fully funded state schools, civilised welfare and social care for the poor and needy, environmentally sustainable energy. None of these things are favoured by the Tories.
