Why not? One council, one municipal hall, one works yard, one fire chief. Nobody says they live in CNV or DNV. We all just say North Vancouver. I have lived in both municipalities and really can't see why we are supporting double almost everything. Long past due!
i am in favour of amalgamation for mainly two reasons: save money (no duplication of services) and community planning (mainly densification)

I've lived in N Van since 1952, both city and district. It's a colossal waste of resources to continue to operate as two entities. Amalgamate now.
