We who sign this written petition all agree on one thing: violence among our social groups must stop. We understand now as more and more things are brought to our attention that this issue has gotten much worse. It seems that the newest controversy is over the emo/scene group against the prep/jock group. This has gotten extremely out of control and with the help of you we would like to support the end of this issue. A new section once talked about this subject but we believe they may have misunderstoogd a few things that must be corrected in the near future. One thing is that it is not the music that causes or fuels the want to cut or harm ones self. It is the hate and the feeling that they are unwanted. This is fueled by the very news section that we are protesting. We find that speaking of them in such a way makes them feel like they are uneanted by society and that society itself begins to believe it. I believe that segments such as those causes attacks from other social groups because they find them too unfit for their world. So please take what we stand for into serio us consideration for my generation and the ones to follow.
