The ICSWG is currently drafting formal policy briefs to define the specific infrastructure requirements we will present during the upcoming PFPAD session. We are coordinating with legal advisors to ensure our sustainability demands align with the existing framework of the International Decade for People of African Descent.

The rapid growth of our current reach provides the leverage needed to formalize the request for a meeting with the Secretariat. I am currently finalizing the briefing memo that translates these specific policy demands into the structural language required for the upcoming April session.

I support this initiative and desire to see the same resources given to others afforded the Afro Descendants and people of African Descent to heal the impact of the 1452 Papal Bull which is still impacting us as well as the Trans Atlantic slave trade /war against people of African Descent whose impact we are still suffering from till today. What will it take to give us equity? We the original people of the earth.

This is opportune coming on the auspicious occasion of Black History Month proclamations. Let us use the 2024 theme: Black Excellence: A Heritage To Celebrate, A Future To Build to push this petition to success. I support inclusion of other African languages (Yoruba, Swahili, Igbo, etc)
