“We, the overtaxed residents of Passaic, NJ, declare that we will no longer sit idly and accept what amounts to legalized theft. Passaic already had one of the highest taxation rates in the country. To add an additional 12% increase is beyond the pale...especially in the midst of the worst downturn since the Great Depression! We declare that we will throw out of office any elected official who does not make it his or her personal mission to lift this oppression off of our middle class, hard-working residents.”
