At present the law allows known pedofiles to keep their parental rights even if they have sexually abused their OWN childrens. As far as I have been told they can only lose their parental rights if the child/children are adopted by someone else! And even then the parent that has abused the child/children have to give their consent!!!! I say that they should be taken away as soon as they are found GUILTY because the poor children have suffered enough!!!!
