I believe this bill will sound the death knell for UNCP and the state legislature has no intention of giving UNCP funding after the initial year.

As a recent graduate from UNCP and coming from Parents who attended when the school was under the name of Pembroke State University, it is imperative that we, the next generation of society, to remain pro-active in establishing an education system in the best interest of community!

With NC support and the current tuition, UNC Pembroke is attracting students and changing lives. UNCP students should contibute and help keep their university strong.

If the intent of this bill was to make college more affordable than let the state make up the funding.

I feel this university should keep its credability because there are students that are helping improve the community and if these students lose their university they would have to start over with a new community
Don't cancel the school
