Discord is a tool used by many West Ottawa students to communicate with others on a group project, or just to ask general questions to a large group without having to go through Gmail. As a result of an incident unexplained by the school's administration, Discord has been blocked for West Ottawa High School students on both WiFi and from our Google Chromebooks, which have been issued to each student. Due to this incident, many students have been struggling to get help on difficult homework assignments, due to either:

a) unresponsive teachers, or

b) unresponsive classmates.

The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness of the effects that the school administration's decision has made on students, as well as to influence them to reverse that decision.
