(This is a Public Relations course campaign by members of the 'Six Arrows' group-belonging to Forman Christian College University, Lahore and is intended to create public awareness regarding the drawbacks of the blockage of YouTube in Pakistan)
YouTube was banned in Pakistan after blasphemous content was uploaded there almost three years earlier. This act was somehow able to calm down the upset people in the country but many Pakistanis suffered from this move a great deal.
The inability of the I.T. sector of the Government to filter out the controversial content uploaded on YouTube while ensuring availability of all other secure (and useful) material has resulted as a severe blow to the entrepreneurs across the country, who are unable to advertise their products, their services or their abilities to a larger market.
We propose that the Government empower its I.T. Department to tackle this problem to block all such controversial material present on the immensely popular and widely used video networking site whilst unblocking every else video available to be viewed on the website.

The steady growth of this petition reflects a shared frustration with the current restrictions on digital access. It is heartening to see so many people recognize that creative and professional opportunities should not be held hostage by technical limitations.

I think now is the time when pakistan Govt. Should unban youtube because its been more than 3 years now since blockage of youtube and pakistan is suffering a heavy loss daily because of it.
Just design & put a custom filter on youtube at your gateways of Internet in Pakistan and unblock the youtube
its no use of blocking this site in pakistan because people who want to open youtube will open it by any other means ie via hotspot shield, proxy etc. therefore its better to unban the site such that people open it through legal means..
It is useless to ban youtube. I mean, different proxies are available ,which allow access to it. So , banning it would not make a different at all. Yeah, but if you really wanna ban something ban that particular content.
it is a good step because youtube should be unblocked now and the inappropriate content should be removed from there.

It should be unban bcz if we have strong faith then any type of wrong video cannot effecr our faith
