In the face and plight of persecution the "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" has yet again shown its bias against the Ahmadi Muslims by blocking their official website in Pakistan. PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) claims that the website is blasphemous towards the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), whereas the website speaks through and through of the beauties of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Therefore, this online petition has been started to create mass awareness towards such injustice. Everybody is welcomed to judge the website by themselves if its nature is blasphemous or not. kindly sign this petition and stop the injustices carried out against the Ahmadi Muslims in Pakistan.

Updates

July 13, 2012

I am currently compiling a formal dossier regarding the PTA website block to present to international religious freedom observers. We are finalizing a letter of inquiry to demand evidence of the alleged violations cited by the authority. Expect a summary of the next legal steps once we confirm the appointment with the oversight committee.

Ridiculous that they are doing this. Let people decide for themselves instead of controlling the internet like this. Very unfair treatment.

TOTAL INJUSTICE. The website is peaceful and this ban is just based on lies. Enough with the persecution already.

This is just sad. People should be allowed to view what they want and practice their faith without the govt blocking websites. Stop the hate.
