Most employers would believe themselves extremely fortunate to have such an employee.

If he had grabbed his arms and marked him people would be moaning he did the right thing

Madness. The Co-op should be thanking him for protecting their interests. Shame on them.

He has always been very helpful every time I have shopped there. Good on him for doing what he did. Too many people turn a blind eye. Definitely give him his job back Co-op!!

Adrian has helped so many people and is an asset to the co op. He apprehended a serial shoplifter and did what he thought was right. He is a credit to the community.

A man acting in good faith on behalf of his employer should not be punished by being sacked

un- suspend this man for doing his job, the boy broke the law, the man in question did what was right. To many youngsters think they can do as they please. Teach them some respect

What an utterly disgraceful way to treat any employee, let alone a long serving one! Good wishes to him.

Ridiculous to suspend him. Trying to do the co-op a favour and stop there produce from being stolen. Crazy. Re instate him immediately.
