He was looking after your store, it's awful that he has been suspended.

Adrian was misguided on this occasion but his heart is in the right place and he takes pride in his work for the Co-Op - customers would miss him

Adrian is a solid guy and a community shop needs staff who care about the community. He didn't take a photograph, he did stop a crime. It is a crime to suspend him.

Somebody who is that committed to helping a business should be rewarded and not punished.

I dont live in Stroud, never have done but this is disgraceful. I just cannot understand Co ops stance on this. Its like their saying he shouldn't have stopped the underage kid thereby authorising him/her to steal, get drunk etc.

He was only doing what any one would do with a Robber, lucky it was only that. No harm done lets get over it ,respect to adrian

For goodness sake, this man was protecting the company. Any little toe rag who steals deserves to be restrained and prosecuted. If more people did this then the little thieves would think twice. Go Adrian!

This man had been within the company for sixteen years and should be kept within his position. Whilst I understand that making a citizens arrest in this kind of way is seen as a bit too far, I believe that if he's fired from the company, it is giving thieves the wrong impression that they are able to get away with stealing.

Come on Coop your a Mutual not a plc, do the decent thing and give him his job back and a promotion for protecting your members interests.

Adrian is a credit to the Co-op And he did not have to put himself in danger, as these days you dont know what some people may be carrying or how many there are And at the end of the day he was protecting the Co-ops interests business And he should be commended for it not suspended And what about the disabled man he helped when he was being mugged Drop the suspension and give him the praise he deserves

Lovely guy, what he is being treated like is disgusting. It is about time someone stood up and does something about these thugs.
