Give the man break. He was only doing his job, too well apparently!. I've known Adrian for years and worked closely with him in a previous company. He may be big but certainly no thug, a gentle giant.

Perhaps the Co-op would have preferred him to let the thief take all the stock!! Let's see some support and sense!!

Adrian IS the face of that shop! He is a big character! Loves the chat and works hard. Perhaps took a physical point a bit far but all in the course of duty.

This guy is a legend. After all he has done for the community and the reputation of the co-op, suspending him is a disgrace. Co-op should be giving him a pay rise, not punishing him.

This chap has always been helpful to me, letting me know about up-coming offers etc. Shame to suspend him Mr Co-op, hope your logic is darn good on this issue.

He is applauded, look around you! I suspect his "suspension" is to avoid reprisals from miscreants who might try to intimidate him. Employ him in a different Coop store for the time being. I will continue to used the Coop, as a member, and their insurance and phone service. But trust justice and this tactical "suspension" are in good faith. Please give him our heart felt thanks for bravery & courage. If I couldn't do it, I will be supportive. Good on yer PAL!

Reinstate him, or are we just supposed to just let people steal whatever they like with no consequences. Where is the deterrent for people today.

Adrian does a good deed for his employers with 16yrs working for them under his belt & this is how they treat him. If the lad hadn't been trying to steal let alone for the third time in the evening, Adrian wouldn't of been sat on him!!! Let Adrian back to work
