I live in Sooke, and use BC Transit almost every day to get from my home to school in Saanich, as does my brother. Removing multi-month passes for students, discount fare tickets, and hourly transfers is directly targeting and cash-grabbing from the two main demographics who use the bus (students and seniors,) and is fully disgusting on the part of BC Transit.

Bring back youth bus tickets and transfers!! Youths and seniors are the ones that have the least money and you're making them pay more! That's unfair to the community and as a result some people cannot afford to ride the bus anymore! Unbelievable :/

I think the new system is way too confusing. We're so used to the old way that it's difficult to make the switch. Plus, it just doesn't make sense to me.

People don't use BC Transit Buses because they want to. They use it because they have to, and forcing those who can barely pay to take the bus as it is to pay more is just not fair.

I have waited 2 busses in 1 hour under the freezing weather tonight. None of the bus came of course. And they want to change the prices like what.

The bus fare is not in any way reasonable. I think it should be kept at 2.50, and keep the transfers. It isn't fair to the public to throw out all of their pocket change just to get somewhere and back.
