The signatures represent support from the UH community for making changes to our Middle School volleyball program now. The University 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams do not get challenged during the season, with the lower caliber teams in the league we’ve been forced to play in over the past few years. By reviewing some of the lopsided scores, it’s obvious that we are playing with the lowest skilled teams in the Patriot league. UH’s proven and growing youth volleyball program belongs with the best league teams (Valley, Eaton, Platte Valley). We need our kids to get prepared for the tough rival teams they will face in high school. The time is now – please make changes for the upcoming 2013 middle school volleyball season. Bulldog volleyball has earned the right to compete with the best set of teams in the Patriot league. UMS volleyball should be playing in the most competitive Patriot League middle school league beginning with 2013 season.
