I have been reading through the emails being left in the comments and it is honestly wild to see how many people are actually interested in getting this tech club off the ground. Getting all these contacts organized is taking a minute but I am working on a way to get us all in one chat so we can start planning the first actual meeting soon.

i like the idea of bring all CS and IT majors together so we can exchange ideas and help one another
This is a good idea. I had actually thought of this a while back and was thinking of doing it myself since I noticed there was no group representing these majors
My plan would entail - Offering peer tutoring/peer advising - Offering juniors/seniors the chance to hold workshops to freshman/sophmores on certain topics - Getting outside speakers (former students, companies, etc.) to come in and talk to members
Other than congregating cs and it students what else will this club be addressing?
I can tutor IT 110, 116, IT240, IT 244, IT341. Programming languages: Visual Basic, BASH, Python. HTML/CSS Excellent knowledge with Windows Server OS.

I’ll attend regularly. I was going to the Boston Python User’s Group but doing something on our campus instead of MIT is better for me
