I have been wanting a way to further my education without just registeries. It would be nice to have a higher level degree that gives us more respect in the medical community.

Sonographers help diagnose and we know way more than what we get credit for. Advance practice sonographers would be very beneficial in aiding in wrongful exams, duplicate exams, and over charging of interpretations. Great idea!

This sounds interesting and I would love to know more about what will be involved as far as training and the qualifications we would earn.

Seeing the quality of some PAs out there and knowing how little of an education and experience they need to get into a PA program, an ultrasound practitioner will be a needed and welcomed addition to the healthcare team.
