I have had four hand surgeries. I speak from experience. I had to learn to scan with both hands but look where it got me!

we appreciate that thank you! we know there are other petitions out there for sonography that are full of spam with no call to action so we wanted to make SURE our petition was clear in its results and goals for the current problem we are trying to solve! Wow this is the best well written memorandum I’ve seen precisely laying out the major concerns plaguing our field. I hope And pray we can make a change. It is truly disheartening to love what I do And yet be in so much pain.

Multiple days and evenings the over requisitioned patients from ER with known disease come to ultrasound to RECONFIRM what we know. How about just doing Ltd exams in that case ?? By the time vascular and obstetrics is done and multiple obese patients which for the 99th time is a WASTE of tax dollars ,our arms our legs are done. I've been a sonographer for 33 years ...I can only protect myself so much from the expectations that ER puts on us. I'm one of the lucky ones ...our young sonographers are aching already .

Retired due to permanent partial disability directly related to scanning. I had extremely high patient loads and "efficiency expectations" that resulted in my injuries.
