I think it is an absolute disgrace that Ulsrer Bank are considering to pull their Donagahdee branch. Being the only bank in the town surely puts the bank in a position to capitalise on this? given the public realm work that is going on it the town and it's the potential attraction of new businesses, it is quite a suprising decision.

Really can't understand why the only bank in the town would close when so many businesses and members of the public rely on the service it provides.

Nobody wishes the Ulster Bank to close it's doors, staff or customers.

No thoughts for the businesses, elderly and the disabled who may struggle to travel to Bangor or Ards for their banking needs. Ulster bank have no respect for their loyal customers

the traders in the town need an accessible bank as do the members of the public. My mother is 81 and cannot comprehend how she will manage her money in an anonymous bank in Bangor.

so now traders are at risk of muggings if the bank is closed as there is nowhere else for them to bank their takings

I opened an account with the Ulster Bank when the Northern closed to support a business which was staying in the town. I'll now be closing that account. If Ulster Bank has no commitment to Donaghadee, I have no commitment to it.

donaghadee need the Ukster Bank, we have already lost the Northern bank a few years ago, Donaghadee serves Millisle, Ballywalter and further.
